OUR PHILOSOPHY

Maternal Resources is a leading OB/GYN practice dedicated to providing exceptional care to women in the northeastern region of New Jersey.

Dr. Yaakov Abdelhak our perinatologist and maternal-fetal medicine specialist (MFM) specializes in high-risk OB, vaginal breech deliveries, external cephalic versions (ECV), VBACs, preterm labor, uterine anomalies, CVS, amniocentesis, and the management of vaginal twins and triplets deliveries.

Working alongside Dr. Ratzersdorfer, Dr. Resnikoff, and Kristin Mallon CNM our modern approach combines the skills, expertise, and different medicine backgrounds of our perinatologist, physician OB/GYNs, and midwife to create better birth outcomes, high vaginal delivery rates (near 90% most years) and better birth experiences for women and their families.

Maternal Resources has lower cesarean delivery rates (near 10%) and is wholly committed to avoiding unnecessary cesarean deliveries. As a practice that promotes successful vaginal childbirth whenever safe, Maternal Resources has an extremely high success rate of vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC). More than 85% of patients who had past cesarean deliveries were able to deliver vaginally with our team of providers.
